Big Shout Out To PJ’s Roofing!!!!!We are really pleased with the roofing results! The roof looks beautiful and the house is cooler (we went from black to light green!) and we don’t have the wind noise that was so bothersome before! We got 3 inches of rain yesterday afternoon and not a leak in sight! We are really pleased with the results.Just as important, a big shout out to PJ's employees who did the install. They came when they said they would, were on time, cleaned up every day, and were very pleasant while they here. I believe that the attitude of a company’s employees is directed linked to that of the management and PJ is obviously doing something right!I have had PJ's do several patch jobs around this small farm near Jefferson over the last 3 years and finally, this spring, the entire roof of the 150 year old farm house. They have always been a great team.I highly recommend PJ's!

First off I must start with I never leave reviews and I have been in the construction business for over 20 years. This company went above and beyond by cleaning up the jobsite and hauling away trash/ old satellite dishes and wire etc.... (never happens). They did excellent clean, quality repairs. I would and will recommend and use them again for ANY roofing needs. Thanks!!

We had our roof replaced last week and it was a great experience. PJ’s Roofing had a crew of five persons come to our house and they had the roof shingles removed, plywood sheets replaced, and were ¾ finished when they left. They came back the next day and finished the job. While wrapping up the work, there were two extra individuals who cleaned up and ran magnets over the grass. We thought they were finished. A couple days later, there were two other gentlemen who came back out to look at the work. One take another magnet over the ground and picked up some more nails, while the other went on the roof to evaluate the overall job. The gentleman on the roof said there was a sheet of plywood that was “bowed” and he was going to have the crew come back out to replace it. He said, “If you have a roof that has a 50 year warranty on it, then it needs to be done right.” Yesterday, two workers came out to the house, completed the job and left. I am still smiling from the professionalism, workmanship, job quality and control, and the cleanup this company did. I am very glad we went with PJ’s Roofing and will not only call them again for future jobs, but will recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Thanks.

I had tornado damage from the storm in May, I had them come out for estimate, referred by family for the work and price they were charged. Their house roof twice as large as mine charge 8200. They took my insurance claim and estimated the job for total coverage from insurance not the job, which was higher than my family members house. My house a rancher and 2 car garage, my family members home twice the size 3 levels. To me they only wanted all the money from insurance not the actual size of the job. Found someone else to do the same work for 4000 less.

We love this company. They have done our roof and both of our daughters. Last week with the big storm, one of our 4 skylights leaked greatly. PJ's came right away and discovered that, on each skylight, the contractors had not put in essential screws. They quickly resolved the issue and we saw the results with this weeks storm - no leaks! Our gutters were not functioning properly. PJs came out earlier than our appointment time so the repair could be made before a storm came. They cleared out several bird nests and re-secured the gutters where they were loose. They completely dismantled the downspout to clear it of debris and fixed a portion of fascia that could have sustained damage if not repaired. The workers went above and beyond and were here a minimum amount of time. We have been very pleased with the work and have not had any issues since the clean out and repair. Thank you!

We had PJ's install shingles on our new addition and replace the old roof during the "monsoon season" last spring, along with new gutters, and we couldn't be more delighted with their work & service. Despite being inudated with so much work from all the terrible storms and inevitably delayed, their team did a fabulous job communicating with us. Our date was almost postponed because of the constant inclement weather, but when PJ learned we had been going without a roof or gutters on part of the house due to renovations, he expedited our replacement. PJ's is a popular company for a reason, they provide excellent customer service and quality work! A year later we are still very happy with the roof & black gutters, that of which are still complemented on! :)

Do you need a new roof? If so, I want you to know not to be fooled by the low price of some goof, who comes knocking on your door. If you do, in time, you will be really sore. You see, "Chuck in a truck" is most likely some gypsy. He will only take your money and go get tipsy. The first time it rains, in your new roof, the drips you shall see. Then, when you try to call "Chuck in the truck," you will really frown when you discover he left town. That's right, he took the money and run, hon.!Don't take chances with the roof over your head. Hiring the wrong contractor is a decision you will surely dread. I hired P.J. for my new roof. He is no goof. He made my new roof nearly bulletproof. His men work like a well-oiled machine. They are careful, neat and clean. The price was right, and their work quality is out of sight. Thanks to P.J. my new roof is a sheer delight. Fortunately, it is strictly water-tight. Don't delay. Call P.J. today. I do not kid, when I say: "You will glad you did!"P.J. is the best of the best. Therefore, I say the hell with the rest!

I would give 5 stars if they hadn't rung our doorbell asking for us to move our vehicles...and wanting to start working at 6:30 a.m. I see absolutely no sense in arriving an hour earlier than we were told. It certainly didn't benefit us! Otherwise...good job.

Actually this is a 100 star review. I called PJs in January about some shingles that were blown off my roof and about a leak that was seeping into my upstair bathroom. Their estimator came out in 2 days time and worked up an estimate. Of the 4 estimates I received, theirs was the best. But I was really impressed by the efficiency and honesty of their staff..They indicated that they had a bit of a backlog and could get to my job in March. I did not have the extensive damage that other homes in the area had, so it was not a problem to wait 2 months. I only asked if there was a temporary fix they could make to an area where water was leaking into my home. The very next day they sent some out to put a collar around my pipe vent to prevent any more water from leaking into my upstairs bathroom. They did not ask for any money upfront and said that they were happy to take my payment after my insurance company settled my claim.Once the work was done, they even filed the invoice with my insurance company on my behalf so I didn't have to figure out how to do that online myself. Now that is customer service tres extraordinaire!!!When March rolled around.they came as promised and the very next day came back to make sure that the grounds were tidy and free of any debris and nails.I heard from others that their repair costs were higher or that they waited longer to hear from their contractors than they anticipated. No such problems for me.This is a quality company, that communicates in a timely way, prices fairly and has family oriented.They should be your first call for roofing repairs.

Not only was their estimate far below Gutters for Less, but their warranty beat Home Depot. They were friendly, fast, and the gutters look and work great! I used PJ's during an emergency several years ago (storm removed a large number of shingles and more rain was expected) and they did a great job being both responsive and doing quality work. When it came time to replace the entire roof this year, I got quotes from multiple companies. For the quality of the material, their price was fair and reasonable with the first quote vs the other providers that all started very high and wanted to be negotiated down. The crew was professional and did a great job with the installation and clean-up. I am very pleased with the process and the result in working with PJ's Roofing.

If you're looking for a roofing contractor in Frederick, look no further. This is the company to hire. Here's my experience with PJ's:We bought our new home and had contractors painting and putting in new carpet prior to moving in. While they were there, we had heavy rains and my roof was leaking in two different places. We had standing water on our bedroom floors. The contractor recommended I call PJ's, so I did. PJ's was up there repairing the roof, in the pouring rain, within a couple hours. PJ's said we might get another year out of the roof, but it needed to be replaced.A couple months later, we had rain water dripping down under our fireplace mantel during a big storm. PJ's came out right away and repaired the flashing on the chimney. At that point we decided enough is enough. We went ahead and hired PJs to replace the whole roof. Their price was very fair, and the quality of their work was excellent. They knocked it out in a day and my property was spotless when they left. Never another drop of water.Five years later, we built our dream home and put that house up for sale. Our buyer requested we make a change to the exterior siding that would have done more harm than good. I asked PJ to come out and take a look. He came out a couple days later and and provided an email that explained why the buyer's request didn't make sense. I was able to forward it to the buyer, which convinced them to cancel the request and saved me money. Consistently great service. Like I said, if you need a roofing contractor, look no further.

PJ came out and gave me an estimate to paint a flat roof and replace some shingles. I agreed and scheduled the job. When his guys came out to complete they noticed the roof shouldn't be painted due to being EPDM. Instead of just painting it, he was honest and let me know. They still replaced the shingles and didn't charge me. This company is responsive, thorough, and honest. We need more companies like this.

PJ's did my roof several years ago now. They did a great job, on time at a very reasonable price. They used architectural shingles that I thought looked good at the time. After several years I have to say, every time I come home and see that roof, I'm still impressed on how good it looks. PJ's is the only contractor I've ever used in 64 years that I would give anything above a 3 star rating. I wish I could give them 6.
